Lady Vols Softball #7 In Nation

The Lady Vols Softball team is 8-0 and ranked #7 in the Nation. Freshman Megan Rhodes through a no hitter, while the Vols scored 9 runs, had 14 hits and stole 7 bases against Charleston Southern. As a Big Orange fan, that's something to be excited about! Until the baseball team figures out what it's going to do, these girls have my full attention this spring!!!

How many games does softball play each year?

They play somewhere around 65-70 games. With Monica Abbott and Megan Rhodes throwing the rock, these girls will probably go a long way this year.

I am definitely going to see them play at some point. The good news is that Abbott is a Sophomore and Rhodes is a Freshman.

They are now 11-0 as a result of the Georgia Southern Tournament.
