Does anyone know how he's done so far in the Orange v White games? Watch out for this kid, he's can really swing the bat and he's a pretty good catcher too! I know his family and they are huge Arkansas fans(mom graduated from there and older brother is their starting 3rd baseman). I would love nothing more than to see him light it up and his family don the Orange, cause it's yet to happen even though he's up there.

How tall is he and what high school did he come from?

Blake is from Christian Brothers HS out of Memphis he is about 6-1 or so this kid is the real deal, I like him alot. Good all around young man.

Isn't that the kid that was measured at 5'10" at the showcase?

I think his summer stats were posted as 6-1 if my memory serves me correctly ... after 22 yrs of dealing with patients it may not....dont hold me to it.

Perfect Game showcase listed him at 5'10" because they do a "measure in". They don't take the kids word for it on height because Scouts get VERY angry if a kid is listed above 6 foot and he is actually under (by an inch or more). If it's a half-inch, they don't care very much (althought I have seen them get mad about that too)....many of them bring measuring devices with them and scales so they don't get hoodwinked. It cracks me up how some of these Scouts operate.

As it was said, he is from CBHS here in Memphis and has his name all over the record book there. Definately excited to see him in Orange and White this spring.
