| Sonny Gray.........SHS ace. Wish UT would recruit this pitcher from SHS (middle TN area). He's a junior,qb-ed team to state 5A championship.Currently 5-0 at Smyrna High, threw a no-hitter against Mt.Juliet yetserday with 16 strikeouts. One of the hardest throwers in area. He's a winner no doubt.Heavily recruited by Vandy.I just hope UT doesn't let a good prospect slip away. Also good friends with UT recruit Rod Wilkes...... |

They are (or were) ranked #1, and their facilities are better than the Vols. But if he is friends with Wilkes, that helps us, 'cause I hear he is already leaning UT. |

With baseball schollies being a fraction of the cost of school, it may still cost too much.

Too bad for us.I also know he went to a Nike camp with about 35 other QB's and he was the shortest guy there and/so he gave up his college football ambitions. |

| If he gets drafted in the first 3 rounds it would be hard for him to turn down that kind of money and if he did go to Vandy he would have to go until atleast his Jr. year.

| As a junior Sonny threw a 92 mile per hour fastball .That IMO would be worth a look by pro scouts, that's for certain. |
