| | Senior Member | Sonny Gray.........SHS ace. Wish UT would recruit this pitcher from SHS (middle TN area). He's a junior,qb-ed team to state 5A championship.Currently 5-0 at Smyrna High, threw a no-hitter against Mt.Juliet yetserday with 16 strikeouts. One of the hardest throwers in area. He's a winner no doubt.Heavily recruited by Vandy.I just hope UT doesn't let a good prospect slip away. Also good friends with UT recruit Rod Wilkes...... |

They are (or were) ranked #1, and their facilities are better than the Vols. But if he is friends with Wilkes, that helps us, 'cause I hear he is already leaning UT. |

With baseball schollies being a fraction of the cost of school, it may still cost too much.

Too bad for us.I also know he went to a Nike camp with about 35 other QB's and he was the shortest guy there and/so he gave up his college football ambitions. |

| | Senior Member | As a junior Sonny threw a 92 mile per hour fastball .That IMO would be worth a look by pro scouts, that's for certain. |
