Open Tryouts

Very common for colleges to have open tryouts in many sports. No surprise there. And no....we're not that bad. It's a new day.

No. Unfortunately, we are that bad. Considering talent, experience, and past success, this group will have to overachieve.....WAY OVERACHIEVE to even be competitive in the SEC.

Oh, and if you are not an invited walk on, you better be able to throw a baseball 90+, run a 6.6 60 and/or have an uncanny ability to hit a baseball very hard, very often or you are just wasting your time and the coaches' time to go to this tryout. Here's a hint: If you haven't played baseball at a high level very successfully: don't show up.

Heard that other than 1-2 pitchers who were very marginal, that there wasn't a lot of talent present at tryout.
