Congrats to Jake! ReptheK! Glad to see Coach Vitello making some noise with middle TN kids.

Jake played on the Goodlettsville LL all star team that won the U.S. championship a few years ago. Alot of those kids are making college choices this year.

Pope John Paul is a good school to make head way with. Coach Parker is big with Team Tennessee and will have talent almost every year. Mason Hickman is there still as well.

Who are some of the other kids? Do you know of any others Tennessee may be recruiting? Probably too soon to know since Vitello just started.

Brock Myers has committed to TN Tech. I'm not sure if any of the other Goodlettsville guys are getting DI looks. A couple of the others were with the Knights up until this year.

As far as the Knights go, there are several in the 17U ranks that are uncommitted. Kaden Dreier from Brentwood being a good one.

Should learn a lot next week. 17U WWBA Perfect Game showcase/tournament is in Atlanta all next week. 392 teams from all over the country and at least that many scouts will be there. Several good travel organizations in the state. The Knights are based out of middle Tennessee, Dulin Dodgers are out of Memphis area and Xposure Baseball out of Knoxville/Chattanooga area. And some TN kids will play for East Cobb teams as well. A lot of good baseball in the state.

Dreier committed to Samford and Caleb Pearson committed to UT. Two guys on the Knights 17U Platinum team. That's 3 Knights at UT that I'm aware of. Pennington, Rucker and Pearson.
