Well, we salvage the series

We won our game 8-7 against Bama today to avoid the sweep. We were up 6-1 at one point, but let Bama back in it. We still have a LOT of work to do, but it's still early. Hopefully, things will start to get on track for our guys soon.

GO VOLS!!!!!

What a day to be a VOL!!

First UVA, then Alabama.

Hats off to Jeff Lockwood for a great pitching performance - 6IP, 5H, no earned runs.

Defense has got to get better, but we fought back and kept crawling and scratching til we got the win. This team looks to be - if anything - resilient. Wins like this are big; for once we were able to capitalize on somebody else's mistake to get a win.

If we can keep from getting swept and take as many series as we can - we'll be in the middle of the East race. As bad as starting 0-2 is, with this win we're OK.

The UGA series this weekend can be a key. Let's take it from them.
