Tennessee/Bama Game 1

Tennessee Lost to Alabama in their SEC opener tonight 9-7. The basevols are now 12-8 (0-1).

• Craig didn't have his best stuff. 7 runs, 11 hits in 5 innings - no strikeouts.
• We got in a hole early, but battled back and made a game of it. That's a good sign.
• Julio Borbon PH for Jarred Frazier (0-3, 3K) and got a single. We need him back badly; combine him and Sim at the top of the lineup and we can create some havoc.
• Danny Wiltz was bright spot and continues to pitch well.
• Yan Gomes is on fire.
• Bryan Powell made his Vol debut on the mound.
• We had 14 Ks tonight. Yuck.

I feel confident that we can get 'em tomorrow with James on the hill. Let's do that and look to take the series Sunday. Neither club is decided on a Sunday starter yet.

They were ranked 22 I believe last I heard.
