Garrett Stallings was the first pick for the O&W series, and he was the MVP. I can actually see him behind Zach Warren for the #2 spot.

If I had to guess our rotation it would be:

Zach Warren
Garrett Stallings
Hunter Martin/ Zach Linginfelter/ Daniel Vasquez
Will Neeley
Alex Harper-Cook

and Serrano or Westphal spelling any hurt guys.

Our bullpen is going to be the real deal

CL: Jon Lipinski
SU: Kyle Serrano
SU: Jacob Westphal
Lefty Specialist: Aaron Soto

With potentially Connor Darling, Quinton Robertson, Luc Lipcus, Richard Jackson, Redmond Walsh ( who's listed as a LHP ), and others contributing.

I actually think we have a potentially great staff.

Without question the staff will be the deepest in the CDS era. If the injury bug doesn't strike then you are correct about this being a "potentially great" staff. Soto is out for the season, had TJ after the summer season.

I hope he gets better. He did a great job recruiting this last class.

I know we're in the last third of the football season but I'm ready for college baseball. I think the World Series was so good it just has me wanting more.

I am excited to see what this staff can do. Having Serrano out of the bullpen would be a huge asset.

His value is more if he is the closer, but Lipinski did well last year. We have a great back end of the pen. I'm more worried about the offense.

man, I'm speculating all over...pitching could be real good and to go with the offensive usual suspects...who knows...could be special...just hope the pitching can keep up...

GO BIG ORANGE!

Pitching is the thing that's been usually good since Serrano arrived. If we can hit, we will be good.

Look how wrong I am.

You did good I think...you mentioned the Fri-Sun. guys, Stallings who pitched tonight, Lingo who will be first off the bench tomorrow and nobody would have predicted that KS and Westphal wouldn't have pitched yet...not that bad IMHO, but...I do appreciate you bumping and calling yourself out, VN needs more of that for sure.

Good to see ya around Burger! :good!:

I'll be on and off for the next few days. I left off Schultz completely.

How come Stallings has not got a start? He proved himself all fall and in the O&W.

There hasn't been any midweek games yet. I'd bet he starts a few of those. He's just not a weekend starter, unless someone implodes or gets injured.
