good stuff and thanks for updating.

I feel extremely confident we make it back to Hoover this year even with our pitching woes.

I also give us an "decent" outside chance of the coveted #10 spot in the SEC, which may or may nor be just enough to get us to a regional.

Someone correct me if im worng but it seems like to me we have played one of the tougher non conference schedules in the league.

According to Nolan Warren's SOS we are middle of the pack in the SEC in terms of SOS...that might change this weekend if we win at home. We can't get swept, even this early, getting swept at home by a very good UCI team would be bad.

Winning the series against a team that is picked to finish second to Cal State Fullerton would be good momentum heading into SEC play.

One can't get too upset over early season OOC losses before any conference games get played, but this series is a big deal on many levels. Every game UCI wins will be reflected in our RPI and SOS from here on out.

UGA trailed much of the game and came back. They had not shown such ability this season.

aTm won despite an off night at the plate

Florida finally showed some offensive fireworks

Auburn must suck

Arkansas is still struggling surprisingly but at least won.

Alabama lost to a good Houston team at home.

Miss. State's ability to score on that Duck pitching staff is impressive. However, Tennessee did even better Friday night against a good UCI staff.

Ball State's best win before Friday may have been 2 wins against underperforming Cincinnati team. Baseball is a funny game, LSU on an off night could still lose against a less than mediocre Ball State team.

I would think this weekend the goal would be to win 2 of 3, but at the very least don't get swept.

I would also pull for Florida, Vandy, and Texas A&M to all sweep this weekend.
