CDS was interviewed by Jimmy and here is the recap:

Picture day was cancelled today, white uni's with snow background was not a good idea

This weeks weather has sidelined practices however up to this point the weather has been fantastic and they've been able to get in a lot of good work

Cold weather games - benefits pitching early on however CDS #1 priority is protecting arms, no more that 4 innings. Defenses suffer in the cold due to standing around......

Pitching - very happy with the progress thus far.

Catching - split duties between Schultz and Santiago. Need to be protective of Schultz early. Skelly, true freshman will get some playing time, he may be the best catch and throw catcher he's seen in a long time.

Good competition in the outfield, 1st base and DH.

Loves this team, fun group, good cohesiveness and exemplifies brotherhood

A lot of good quality players, only downside is they have not won together consistently

Ready to fill out the lineup card:
Pitching - Friday night is Cox, Saturday is Serrano and Sunday is Warren. Starters will only go 4 innings max. They will be followed by Freeman on Friday, Soto on Saturday and Martin on Sunday. After that is the bullpen.......

Positions (not batting order):
1st - Rodgers
2nd - Moberg
3rd - Senzel
SS - Bartlett
LF - Jackson
CF - Lance
RF - Hall
Catcher - Schultz and Santiago, will split time in no particular order

On scoring more runs this year, CDS says the defense will prevent more runs than last. Solid defense and extremely pleased.

Senzel should have solid year and Jackson and Lance need to step up

Daniel Neal, in due time will be the most feared hitter

Rodgers has been very consistent

Loves the pitching and defense

GBO!
