In the series opener against No. 3-ranked Texas A&M on Friday night, Tennessee battled through a back-and-forth contest but came up short in a 6-5 decision at Lindsey Nelson Stadium.

They kept fighting back against the #3 team in the nation but they need to sneak out some wins in order to make it to Hoover. I was at a high school game so unfortunately I only got to the see the final three outs. :hmm:

you missed a real good game.........hopefully the HS game was entertaining well.

It was but only because they won 11-0. :) It was their 14th shutout of the year and was also the first game of the playoffs.

I hope this isnt another let down weekend after a victorious weekend.

Another weekend with vols needing to win 2 straight to win this series.
