A reminder for those coming to future games.

AVOID CUMBERLAND AVENUE/KINGSTON PIKE/ALCOA HIGHWAY INTERSECTIONS LIKE THE PLAGUE.

Take Neyland Drive to Lake Loudon Blvd or Joe Johnson Drive through Ag campus.

Choosing the 17th Street exit and crossing over Cumberland Ave. is still doable for now. (Unless it becomes congested due to traffic.)

The Strip will be an even worse option for next baseball season too.

What's happening on campus to cause above stated mess? Construction?

2+ year project to redesign Cumberland Avenue.

Shrinking from 4-lanes to 2. Wide sidewalks, etc.

Exiting Alcoa Highway at Kingston Pike/Cumberland Ave was never the fastest way anyway. Now, it would be a nightmare as KUB has started utility work between Alcoa Highway and 22nd Street first.

The new shopping area adjacent to campus is nice for a quick bite or such and can be reached from the bridge between Ag and main campus

Get off the downtown exit get on gay street park behind downtown grill and brewery( free parking) enjoy some great craft beer and potato skins and walk from there. Problem solved.

They should just shutdown the strip to traffic on gamedays and make it a tailgating strip.....

It is just as east to drive to Gatlinburg and come up Alcoa Hwy from 321. Maybe not?
