I'm going to be positive here.

Outside Friday's game, this was likely the Vols' best game. It was at least their best midweek game.

I was sitting in stands (between heckles anyway) thinking we looked "efficient" both on the mound, in the field and at the plate. A few hiccups running the bases but I think I'm just going to have to get used to that.

Peay came into the game as a good offensive team and you could actually tell. Many of their guys hit the ball really hard but we made the plays it took.

No errors on the game. Youngblood's blunder was explained by CDS on postgame show as I drove home.

Vols hit the ball hard too and had some clutch hits for the last 3 runs.
