The No. 25 Vols (19-8, 3-6) welcome in-state SEC rival No. 4 Vanderbilt (24-6, 5-4) for a three-game series at Lindsey Nelson Stadium from April 4-6. <img src= "http://grfx.cstv.com/schools/tenn/graphics/video_icon.png" /> LIVE VIDEO | RADIO | LIVE STATS | LIVE BLOG

The Vols went from one fire into another.

The Vols have been in a slump but I'm optimistic that they'll get of it this weekend winning 2 of 3 vs Vandy in nailbiter games.
The Vols score 6 to 9 runs in the two wins.

I like the way you think.

Well Thanks and my prediction turned out to be right.

Vols come back after losing game one to win 10-9 in game two, and 7-0 in game three to win 2 of 3 getting out of the mire that has been the slump.

Vols did score one more run than I predicted the amount they would for wins 10 in game two. Not something to bother me because it was in dramatic final inning fashion very late and they won.

The Vols made a freakin statement this weekend vs Freakin Number 4 Vandy which was needed considering the Slump they were in.
The Valiant Vols continue to grow. Game two may have been a season changer still a lot of season left but so far it's look damn good.

Gamecocks Weekend it was a fiasco with Dallas Cowboys kind of stuff choking with close but no cigar.
Vandy Could have repeated after the wretched blown lead in game one but didn't as the Vols came back 10-9 in game two with 2 runs in the 9th both on one hit, and 7-0 to win the Series.
It appears they grew up likely still to have several growing pains but a great way to rebound to get out of the slump.

While I recall them beating ranked teams in the Serrano Era including the Gators in 2012 I can't recall in a long time the Vols not only losing the first game vs a Top 10 team but then coming back to win the next two.
