The No. 14 Diamond Vols scored two runs in the bottom of the eighth and loaded the bases in the ninth inning, but couldn't plate the game-tying run as No. 29 Auburn held on to beat the Vols, 3-2, in front of a season-high 2,742 fans at Lindsey Nelson Stadium on Friday night.

Welp, rough night. Didn't seem like the team had any SWAG. Three Fridays in a row, we haven't hit like we're capable of...gotta work hard now, we can't afford to lose a home series. GBO!

Stranded base runners are killing us.

Absolutely! We have to capitalize when we have opportunities.
Lead off walks are another issue we have right now. It's amazing at how the percentage goes up for a base runner to score when he gets on with nobody out.

66, do you know the percentage off the top of your head? I'm thinking it's around 50%.

We lost but I'm happy to see we at least almost pulled off the rally.

Need to win the next 2, keep it up.
