I see you're picking ASU to win the series, would you discuss your reasoning behind the prediction? I'm not trying to set you up, just interested in your thoughts.

First road series at a hostile stadium against a school with some major little brother issues within their conference and big believers in "SEC Gets all the Breaks" conspiracy.

They and their fans REALLY want this.

We're far more talented than last year but we're still young. If we keep our heads together, by the end of the season we'd crush these guys. Right now. I don't know.

I think our one advantage right now is offense. I think pitching is even to favoring ASU.

It's also a long first road trip with a time and temperature change.

If we do take this series, it will be a heckuva nice accomplishment.

This is going to be a tough test for this young team and I won't be shocked if we lose this series at all. Even if that happens, it won't change the fact that this program has turned the corner and the future is bright.

Those are all certainly valid points/concerns.

My biggest concern is how our relatively inexperienced pitchers will react to the environment.

I agree that our offense is a strength.

I don't think their pitching, over all, is as good as it was last year.

If we could steal the first game...I think our guys have something to prove, we're familiar with their pitching...It's always bad to change a preseason pick, Vols win 2-1, just a feeling.
