The article said that the pitchers they spoke to were pretty much in favor.

The better pitchers like the flat seam ball…….

Example, Pro golfers prefer bladed irons, the rest of us like cavity back.

We will be able to better judge a pitchers ability to go to pros. Easier for scouts to compare apples to apples.

At least they're giving something back to hitters after deadening the bats.
