Non-mandatory conditioning sessions conducted by the conditioning staff (i.e., not a baseball coach) don't count against the 20-hour limit.

Correct but it would be odd for them to be non mandatory. That must be the case though.

The morning lifting sessions are nonmandatory BUT it is understood that everyone will be there!
