MTSU-level intelligence with that commitment shift, imo.

The article says he de-committed then re-opened his recruiting and chose MTSU over a couple other schools.

De-commitments can happen for lots of reason and can be initiated by either the school or the player. Sometimes one or both parties just realize it's not a good fit. Sometimes one side has buyer's remorse.

Without knowing who initiated the de-commitment or why, there's no point in trying to draw any conclusions either about him or the state of the program.

Perfect Game lists him as a mid-80's LHP. I have no idea how he projects.

This is a good thing for the Vols. Dupree is not a D-1 level talent. He topped out at 82 and gave up 8 ER in 1.2 at the TBCA showcase and is not even a district pitcher for Ooltewah. He'll be at Chattanooga St. or Cleveland St. before its all said and done. There is not way in hell that he plays for team USA.

Dooley should be fired because of this....the L to Florida in football clearly caused this baseball player to sway to another school
