I just don't understand why there are not hoards of pitchers throwing that nasty pitch. Not a whole lot different than tossing around in the back yard and it saves the old rotator cuff.

Could be the first time I've ever seen the verb "fires" used to describe the act of throwing a knuckleball.
I've only seen RA Dickey play in person one time. Thought he had to be the bravest man in the world to throw a ball that soft while standing so close to a man as big as Adam Dunn.

The batters remind me of the guy swinging at Patrick Swayzee in Ghost and not hitting anything. They swing hard and really try to hit it, but no cigar. You kinda have to feel sorry for them in front of all those people and looking little leaguers and then they cap it off by beating the crap out of home plate. That has got to be gratifying to RA.
