A little perspective..

Of just how poor our talent was (thanks to Raleigh) last year. Our best hitter, let me say again, our best hitter had a .297 BA last (this) year. That is just atrocious.

Edit: No point, just a sad fact.

I wasn't particularly trying to counter your post, instead, I was more or less looking for this year's average to gauge the amount of improvement, however small it may be.

In 2011 Norfolk, Osborne, and Duffy were all comfortably above .300.

I just wonder how many of you are judged as harshly on a regular basis as our coaches. At least give them a few years to straighten out some of these messes.

I'm not blaming Serrano in the slightest, it's not his fault the talent is so poor. Not having a single .300 hitter speaks volumes, I wouldn't be surprised if Tennessee was the only team in the conference without one.

Raleigh had to be one of the worst hires in UT history in any sport. If you look at his record at Western Carolina he was halfway decent, but nothing great. I'm still not sure what Hamilton was thinking. He seemed like was always way in over his head at UT
