| April has been a miserable month for the Vols.
Vandy isn't going to underestimate the Vols, time is running out on the Vols they need to end the losing streak, and win the last 3 SEC series.
Vandy is coming in with confidence after beating the bigshot Wildcats in a series but Vandy is playing a desperate Vols team on the road.
Never has beating Vandy felt sweeter if the Vols can make the exact opposite of last weekend, and finally after getting out the bottom outside 2 to be sent back there.
The Best case scenario is a sweep.

BTW, if I were a student who just won $1,700.00 I would make a lot more noise than that guy did!
And can you imagine if they had that contest 20-years ago with "my group" of Dog Pound students. We'd be throwing punches. Of course 18-19 years ago there would not have been a progressive jackpot bigger than $400. | |

| Vols are now 4-4 against participants in 2011 College World Series. Should have won at least 1 more game against South Carolina.
Nick pitched his heart out tonight. We really saved the bullpen for the next 2 days as we are really going to need it.
The first reliever Vandy brought out was throwing the proverbial gas on the fire. | |

| Looks like reality is setting in in Lexington. Loss to Gators 5-1 at home. 3rd straight SEC loss.
South Carolina beats Arkansas
Ole Miss and LSU are tied in 13th
UGA holds at home vs Auburn
Miss St wins at Bama
The only thing that was a real positive for Vols hopes for top-10 is win over Vandy.
Vols pull within 1 of Vanderbilt for 10th
Vols pull within 2 of Auburn for 9th (AU has tiebreaker obviously)
right now, the Vols only hold a tiebreaker against Bama. They need to win this series against Vanderbilt to really have a realistic shot at #10. | |

Ideal result is to sweep Vandy. They can move one step closer to the ideal result if they can beat Vandy again tommorow.
