How are our Freshmen doin?

from what i've seen, they are not seeing a lot of action so far. maybe someone else can help. i don't think cds has been playing a lot of players, anyway.

Next years team will have a lot of freshman. Baseball is a little different, theres always juco and smaller college talent transferring in each year. There really not a ton of freshman. Maddox has been starting at 2nd. Carter and Allen have been seeing time in the outfield. Wormsley plays a few innings each week at first. Horne, Kidd, and Stevens have been pitching 2-5 innings each week.

When Wormsley plays first base, you have 3 Freshmen in the line-up (Allen, Maddux). Thats quite a bit.

Allen is a home town kid... Very smart and disciplined. Very glad to seem doing good.
