Buzz i've hears from some former players is that Corbin might actually consider leaving Vandy bc there is an athletic department with an AD(quality or lack of being debatable) and for pay etc. Think it would have to be just right though.

In this article he seems to like the lack of an AD. That was afew years ago and things change. Vandy did keep him from Auburn at one time. They don't have to put his salary out there, so I'm not sure what he's making, I just can't see us outbidding them.

No one laughs at Vandy now - SportsBusiness Daily | SportsBusiness Journal

Somebody help me if I am wrong but I think Dave Serrano was looked at before but UT can not hire a head coach that does not have a degree. If I am wrong and he has one I would love to have him.

That may have been an issue, it certainly kept him from the Oregon job.

Same w/ Vandy, I'd say he'd be nearly impossible to pull but ya never know.

These threads are fun, but ultimately end up disappointing when Hamilton hires someone that is on the bottom of the list or isn't even on it.

SERRANO is the man for sure.
How the heck can the guy even LIVE in California off a $150,000 salary?

and assistants?
keep Lawson around and add Larry Simcox

The salaries may not be accurate, I've corrected 1 already, and those would just be base salaries.

I know. Here's the real fantasy. I hope we bring in the AD from Louisville and he brings McCullen with him.

All I know is this guys....there is SO much potential for this program with how good the instate talent is along with the hope scholarship program

If we were to hire a big name (Serrano, McConnell, Murphy) our recruiting would instantly improve big time and we could be a top 25 program by year 2.....I would do cartwheel after cartwheel if we get one of those 3 guys

I agree, after being over at LNS yesterday, I could see that place packed with kids that want to back a winning team. Definitely.
