Freshman Ethan Bennett smashed his first career home run and junior Levi Dean improved to 3-0 on the mound as the Tennessee baseball team clinched a series victory in its four-game set against Manhattan with a seven-inning, 3-2, triumph in the second game of Saturday's doubleheader at Lindsey Nelson Stadium.

The Vols have momentum with the 2nd straight game they have hit a home run. Six straight wins, and continue a fantastic start.
With the win the Vols proved my prediction right of winning 10-12 of their first 15.
2 wins from tying their best start since 2006 when they started 14-2.

so far so good...last year they were 7-7. hopefully the pitching stays strong. Duffy is hitting the cover off the ball.

We play nobody. Raleigh has scheduled a bunch of no name teams to try to boost his record in attempt to save his job. Its not going to work when we get into SEC play, we're all going to see how much work this program really needs.
