A Rocky Top Homecoming

Former Vol Ty'Relle Harris is back in East Tennessee playing baseball with a "T" on his hat once again, only this time for the Chicago Cubs' Double-A affiliate, the Tennessee Smokies.

Only a few days late, lol

It was pretty funny. I saw Ty'relle walking on the concourse with his bags and still in his Braves gear as he switched clubhouses 45 minutes before first pitch. And I was in the locker room when he first got in and it was pretty neat seeing a new player meet his new team.

It was done as a feature, not as Breaking News. They probably wanted to wait and do a story after he made his first appearance. The news was reported when it happened on the Vol Baseball Twitter feed.

Could also have had issues scheduling the interview. Unlike college, ever pro player isn't available before or after every game.
