After losing 5 straight to end the season and finishing 10th in the SEC with a 12-18 record, the Vols are somehow the 2nd team on the "Next 10" list in Rivals writer Kendall Rogers' regional projections...in other words there's a chance this team could get in if some things go right for them this weekend...they'd probably be in if they would've won 1 against Bama...this just shows how weak the bubble is this year and also how the team blew a great chance at the NCAA tourney

What this also suggests is that the Eastern KY, Binghamton, and Kennesaw State losses earler in the year could've done us in (along with the Bama sweep)...win 2 of those 3 and Vols record is 32-24 rather than 30-26(looks a lot better)...oh well...team fell apart the last 2 weekends...this also makes Raleigh look even worse (that his team couldn't even make it in when the bubble was incredibly weak)

I have said repeatedly that those three OOC games and that series at state will be what costs us.

There's no way this team should get in.
