"We've played the four toughest series first, and this is the worst game we've played so far. We could easily have seven or eight wins right now, but we don't. Not that any of the series coming up are easy"

Sorry to tell you Todd...but your team is 3-9 in the SEC and you're most likely done after this season

Always "if" and "could've" with Raleigh

"If I could just lay off cupcakes and dip, I would lose twenty five pounds. But I had box of cookies today so I am still a fata**."

Why am I not suprised that Hamilton hired a semi-literate hick?

Why not go ahead and give this guy the ax now? What do we have to gain from him coaching the rest of the season?

Because Mike Hamilton just doesn't care. He has football and basketball which get all his focus....he does not care about baseball or what HE is putting the team through with this guy.

That is pure assumption and I just can't agree. Look at the Facility improvements with Baseball, Swimming, Golf Range, Tennis, and Track. All have performed well especially TENNIS ranked #2 under Winterbottom.
I was scratching my head when Raliegh was hired and the rumors of his tactics and running off players that were All SEC caliber like Gomes,Siminic, and Lockwood.
His main improvement from Delmonico has been GRADES in the classroom (they wear more ORANGE TOO). But no SEC Tourney yet.

What would you prefer him to say during his interviews?

You are correct...it is pure assumption based on the fact he has allowed this to continue far too long. He is well aware of his tactics and the way these players are constantly beat down. Raleigh is a liar and an expert in manipulation but I have to believe Mike Hamilton is too smart to fall for that at this point. He is the one and only person that can stop the mental abuse being forced on these guys and he hasn't done one thing.

Don't bash Hammy yet. Let's wait and see if he cans Raleigh at the end of the season. A mid-season coaching change can really be a distraction for the players.
Now if Hammy let's TR have a fourth year we can then call for both their heads.

I can't see that it would be any more of a distraction than the crap going on now. In fact, if TR was gone and out of their heads, I bet they would actually play a LOT better.

I think a midseason coaching change would be GREAT for the players...let Currier who was the head man at Vermont for 22 years coach the rest of the year....the environment would be so much better without TR

From what I've heard, Currier is a Raleigh loyalist and probably wouldn't take the team under those circumstances.

It is a shame, though, that the best coach on the team isn't the one calling the shots.

What would you prefer him to say during his interviews?
That he is ill acquainted and prepared to lead our charge, that his porkulence engages his desires primarily, at the denigration of recruiting, and that as a patriotic Volunteer he wishes to tender his resignation.

We would, then, escort him sweetly eastward toward Raleigh where he could revel in his namesake.

Then proceed to burn Lindsey to ashes and rebuild it with the splendor that has been stolen by His Porkulence himself.

Thank Ari! You gave me a much needed laugh this morning which is much needed after last night's beating by Vandy.
