A well deserved nomination and rightly so.

Just give it to Geno and quit wasting others time. I guess a case could be made for the Neb coach but come on what Geno has done will never be equaled.

Yes Pat will never equal Geno in recruiting violations.

I can't believe Kentucky's coach didn't make the list. I thought all post season awards went to their team, and coach, that by the way has yet to win anything meaningful this year.

I'd love to see Pat add another one of these awards to the case. IMO, if it's awarded fairly, it should go to Pat or the Nebraska coach. If it is, in fact, a coaching award. From where UT and Neb. finished last year to the placement in the polls this year is a big turn around. We were ranked 7th in preseason with uconn and Stanford ranked 1/2. Nebraska wasn't in the top 25 preseason. I don't think Nebraska got any votes. So, I think it might go to the Nebraska coach this year based on the turnaround.

As much as I loathe Auriemma, giving this award to anyone else this year really can't be justified.

The only award he really deserves is a seat in a dunking booth and some one with poor aim to throw things at him....Win he does, but at what cost? Pat or the Nebraska coach deserve it....They worked hard to bring their teams up from where they were last year....Geno will need to do some more of his famous recruiting to replace what he will loose this year.
