"select" implies elite or otherwise useful, right?? don't disagree with them on this but is this the same group that put a true freshman on the all SEC team?

It may play out just this way, but I would not bet against Pat in any situation or game. Smart money doesn't.

True, but we lost 11 games last year, and LSU, the media pick to win the SEC, was one of those losses. Van Chancellor is very comparable to Summitt in coaching ability. He won 4 WNBA titles and a gold medal in the Olympics.

Also, we are still a very young team.
