Lady Vols Defend NCAA Championship Against Stanford Sunday

The #11/13-ranked Tennessee Lady Vols (8-2) are back home for the first time in 10 days and willentertain #3/4-ranked Stanford (8-2) on Sunday, Dec. 21 at Thompson-Boling Arena at 7:00 p.m. on ESPN2.UT will be looking for its 300th all-time win at TBA (against just 19 losses) in the game with the Cardinal. Thecontest will also be a rematch of the NCAA title game contested between the two teams last April in Tampa,Fla., at the 2008 Final Four.

Go Lady Vols....will be a tough game. Especially as young the the LV's are this year.

It would be great for the team to get a win over a top team, but it will very tough Stanford has some great players.
