not naked, but nearly naked. I guarantee you that beach volleyball is the most watched womens sport and it isn't because of the athleticism on display.

Beach volleyball is great. So are hot women. I also enjoy women's athletics because I love sports and I love competition. I know that it's a cliche but there are aspects of women's sports that you won't find as much in men's pro sports. Women have every right to compete just like little league kids. Have you ever watched a midget or supermidget football game? Ha, it's the most ridiculous thing you'll ever see and it is completely funded by the parents of the participants and their community. Is everyone really agreeing that because it makes no money and most of the women aren't good looking that they have no business existing? I understand not liking or watching it but being intentionally offensive to the fans and athletes of the sport is going to far and makes you look like a sexist, ignorant jerk.

I'm pretty freakin' sexy! My wife is hot so I don't really care what other women think about me.

I'm fine with that, as long as I don't have to watch them try to play basketball.

Guess what? The beauty of it is that you don't! Unless you're just UT junkie like me. I feel obligated to watch the WNBA any time a former Lady Vol is playing. I also feel obligated to watch and enjoy watching the Lady Vols. How can you not respect and admire what Pat Summitt has built in an SEC football town Knoxville?

Candace Parker Gets Into Scuffle

Watch women play sports naked? That's very crude, rude and demeaning. Women's sports are not ridiculous, Title IX is not ridiculous. Any "man" that makes comments like that seem to be the ones who think all "blonds" are dumb. Blond can come from a bottle you know. I hope to see women's sports become more and more prevalent and I plan to do any and all I can to see it happen. Also I don't believe for one minute that incident with the scuffle was staged or put on for show. I just saw on the sports TV they announced that player last night who fell to the floor tore her ACL and will be out for the rest of the season but I guess that's a lie too. I'm done with this discussion, it's getting ridiculous.

Just one more and I'm out of here. I have a lot of respect and admiration for Coach Summitt. I finally got to meet her this past December, 2007. I got to talk with her and exchange stories about the 6 on 6 play early on in basketball for women in high school. Coach Summitt is just as nice as I've always heard she is. Players and former players are blessed when they can play ball for Coach Summitt. She makes them a better person all the way around, she teaches them things that stay with them the rest of her lives. I knew while I was talking with the Coach that I was in the company of a very special woman. Coach also makes sure her players graduate with their degrees. She is role model material, we need more women like Coach Pat Summitt.

Do you feel obligated to watch an Arena League game every time a former UT player is playing? How about the CFL or NBA D League?

I take interest in every sport that a former Vol competes in. Unless they are an athlete who wasn't proud of going to UT or I just couldn't stand. I'm not going to say that I seek out CFL, swimming, softball, the WNBA, etc. I will watch and support when I come across it. Being so disrespectful and demeaning to former UT athletes because of their sex is completely classless.

Before she was "shoved"...she went charging in to the gang of players & after Mahorn. Looked to me like she was on her heels in retreat when he "pushed" her...so made it easy to take a dive like she's good at doing. In later clips I saw it looked to me like she actually popped Mahorn in the head with a hand or fist.

If the refs had stepped in as soon as Parker & Pierson banged bodies, ran into, pulled down each other after that free throw, the rest might have not started. I don't have any problem with players defending themselves, just might as well be more strategic about how they do go about it to keep. Especially at that point in a game...what 4 seconds left & you're ahead...why bother.

I've said before that I love the WNBA and have followed it since inception. It's so nice to be able to watch college players beyond their NCAA careers. Don't mind a little frackus either but prefer good hard play.

PS. Sitting here watching LA/NY & the announcers just talked about LL throwing an elbow but the NY player getting the call & that if you'r playing against LL you better be ready for the elbows. Oh, and LA has been behind since the 1st quarter until just now at 1:00 left...wonder what's going to happen now!

Heard someone comment that she had hurt it earlier in the game...but all she was doing was trying to hold someone back & seemed to twist or turn on it.
Big bummer whatever.
