| From a Houston Comets fan Hopefully these Lady Vol gals will take their positive attitudes to LA and infect the rest of those prima donas...especially Ms Leslie...with a case of it.
None of them fit the thug character that the Sparks have been known to exude.
Personally I'll be a fan of all their teams in hopes they and the others from this draft class bring a surge of excitement & new interest to the WNBA so they have a place to play professionally here rather than going overseas. |

| P.S. And there are 3 former Lady Vols up in Seattle...Fluker, Robinson & Ely...as well as all the others scattered throughout the league.
And in particular Houston's own Michelle Snow.
Be a WNBA fan for the "off season" before football cranks back up |

| Fluker was let go by Seattle last year in mid-season and it really upset the team at the time it happened. Ty was picked up by the Sparks, so that's another Lady Vol there unless she has been let go or traded. |

| HDTV can be rough on Kara sometimes, but she does a good job. She was in a tough spot having to pick that game. |

They have a contract with ESPN2, and sometimes Fox Sports carries "local" away games (NBA TV frequently picks up those feeds for other markets).
With the new team in Atlanta, maybe Knoxville will get more game broadcasts. |

| The Sparks should have taken... Anosike, not Bobbit, in my opinion--she's got MUCH more upside as a pro. Bobbit's got a lot of heart, but she didn't exactly tear up the college ranks as a PG--she's tiny and her assist numbers were very modest. Anosike, on the other hand, has a lot of UPSIDE IMO. Parker should have urged LA to take her, because she's a big athletic center who could have taken a lot of physical pressure off Parker inside, I think, enabling Parker to operate around the basket. Anosike is also finally--after four years--developing a little offensive confidence. Together, she and Parker make a formidable pair. Average pgs are easy to find, but no so athletic centers like NA. |
