Tennessee softball potentially #1 this week?

All 3 teams ahead of UT have lost this weekend. Florida has lost twice to Georgia. Yesterday, Washington lost 2-0 to Arizona St and UCLA lost 7-5 to Oregon. First losses for Washington and UCLA. May not move ahead of all of them, but it's possible. Could depend upon how Washington and UCLA finish the weekend.

Well, UCLA just lost their second consecutive game to Oregon. This one 3-0. Could put us in the top 2. Washington won today and plays Arizona St again tomorrow.

Just glad to be in the conversation at this time. Long season still to play and there are losses ahead. The main thing is, this great start positions us well for the post season. With a good conference record, we will be in position for a top 8 seed in the NCAA. That's what really matters.

Georgia wouldn't have jumped THAT far even if they had won. Florida wasn't the #1 team in the country.
