Hope Davenport is a Lady Vol fan.....hope even more she comprehends UT history and traditions.

Go Lady Vols!! Swing some bats! (We have some posters that really need for you all to hit!).

Is that proper SB terminology, Jeff?:p

After watching Arkansas in person last week at Bama.....we should be able to hit their pitchers even their lefty who is a bit erratic....Bama does not hit very well but their pitching is great which is why they stayed in the series the whole time....Arkansas doesn't have great defense but they can make the routine plays their catcher struggles with defense...the outfield for them doesn't have the players to erase runs but they do have arms.... they didn't see the speed that Tennessee will present to them last weekend so that should challenge them...the Arkansas batters are okay you can pitch around their best hitter....we should win 2 out of 3 at least...The teams nerves are gone from last weekend opening the SEC part of the schedule

Anybody watching? TN sent 5 batters to the plate and left 2 stranded. No runs in the top of the 1st. Gregg struck out looking. What's up with that.

Moss not looking on thus far. Hopefully she settles in. Arky with runners on 1 and 2 no outs

Moss all over the plate. She gets a routine ground out, then walks one. Another batter gets on with an infield hit that glanced off Seggern's glove and trickles into the outfield. Then she bears down and gets a strike out. Then a wild pitch moves two runners to 2nd and 3rd. Then gets out of the jam with a high pop fly to Leach. It's an adventure.

The Arkansas pitcher is even wilder than Moss. You gotta' fear for your safety at the plate tonight.

On the bright side Seggrin did not strike out tho.

Not familiar with Rowland, appears to be a free swinger

Moss gives up a single to right. Then a fly out to McSwain in left. Then a DP to end the inning! Grounder back to Moss she throws to Gregg who turns the DP. Nice.

Top of 3rd. McClain watches a pitch go 10 feet over her head into outer space than beats out a bunt single.

McClain tore her pants. Goes to the dugout sews them up. Leach walks on 4 pitches. 2 on no outs. Time for some runs.

McClain scampering around at 2nd. Vines out at 1st. Runners advance. Time for a Gregg-bomb.

Well gee willickers. Gregg flies out to foul territory and they throw out McClain at home. Inning over. 2 on with no outs and Arkansas gets out of it.
