Mercedes & Jaime played a lot of minutes to not get on the first team. Wake up call for these Lady Vols! Take a message and promise to get back with them!! GLV!

Good for DD, Jaime and Mercedes! They deserve the recognition.

Bet Jaime would have been First Team if she hadn't hit that slump between the SCAR and MSU wins. She has been a difference maker in the LV's big wins.

Seems field goal percentage didn't play any part in the selection. Mercedes has a higher field goal percentage than most of the first team. You look at Mercedes stats and they are right there as a first team player. I suspect her weak defense kept her off the first team.

DPOY - Raigyne Moncrief??? I guess I did not see the same player others saw.

Probably didn't help that the LVs are just a middle of the conference team.

We have some MR bashers that probably think she should not be on any list except the **** list!

This. The three top post players in the SEC are clearly Coates, Akhator, and Russell. All have almost identical stats and you're splitting hairs when making comparisons among the three. In those cases, the tiebreaker almost always goes to the player(s) whose team finished higher....

Did Nicolette visit?
Discussion about Ododa and Dixon either or both?
DeCosta ?
Balogun?

Yes, she visited for the Arkansas game and had a great time. It was her second unofficial visit.

I don't think either Ododa or Dixon have TN as their top schools, but TN is in contact with both.

DeCosta LOVES Tennessee, and wants to play with Westbrook AND Diamond.

Balogun, IMO, will be the next to commit.

Love to see Balogun commit. Diamond will be in the WNBA before DeCosta is a Freshman.

We really need another post player

Maybe Diamond stays...that gal loves Tennessee...and she still would be the top draft pick in the next WNBA draft...so...has she promised recruits that she is staying...and one final year with T'ea Cooper...Hey...I'm thinking she stays...doesn't need the money...family has dough...Diamond will be wearing Orange next year...fingers crossed and rubbing my favorite rabbit's foot!

Thanks Chris: agree and hope we can get a big from somewhere! Don't tell Amb3096 about Ododa and Dixon... he/she thinks Holly should concentrate on them even if they have little interest! And the others you mentioned won't come because we have too many at their positions???

Balogun is a favorite of mine. Reminds me of MeMe but she has an offense.

Could you imagine in a few years? KK and Collins, Davis, DeCosta, and Westbrook....talk about a big line up! Average of 6'2" 🙏
