Mercedes is becoming the player we all thought she would be. Foot injuries are tough to overcome and there are still signs that she is having some pain,but fighting through it. Congratulations on a well earned honor.

Part of the honor should go to the guards and forwards too. If they were not moving on offense or getting the ball to her, she would continue to be mired in double and triple teams. We are starting to see what she can do when the defense is fair to her. If the outside game continues to improve, she will get many more of these type awards because there are few than can handle her one on one.
