Tennessee softball co-head coaches Ralph Weekly and Karen Weekly have announced the addition of Ashley Andrews to their staff for the 2016-17 season.
Andrews, a former captain and four-year starter for the Volunteers (2009-12), will take over as the Director of Softball Operations after spending the last two seasons as an assistant coach at the University of Washington. Her job duties will include the coordination, planning and execution of the program's day-to-day activities as well as coordinating team travel plans and meals, and supervising the team's managers.
"We are thrilled about Ashley's return to Tennessee softball," co-head coach Karen Weekly said. "As a player and graduate assistant Ashley's passion for the Volunteer program was on display every day.
"Her work ethic and organizational skills are exceptional, and the experience gained as an assistant coach at Washington the past two years will be invaluable as she takes on this new role."
