I like this one. I like it more than the TBA thing - I wouldn't care if they renamed the arena for her, but I feel like that's a much larger boondoggle and it's already got a name so how can you fairly rename it? But the trophy? The Pat Summitt trophy? That'd do nicely.

Personally, I don't like naming the NCAA Championship Trophy after Pat. Pat said many times that the game is bigger than her.

The WBCA Coaches trophy is already named for her, and IMO, the coaching trophy is more deserving.

Just my opinion though.

The Wooden trophy is named after a great coach just like Pat and it is a team award, that is why I like the idea and started a petition. I also want everyone to remember what she meant to the game and hopefully young girls, who did not get to see her coach, can research her great story and realize that they can achieve anything through dedication and hard work.
