Sure was nice to watch a couple of butt whoopings. Probably our best 2 overall games all season long.

We played very well, overall--solid pitching and excellent at bats and hitting. Sorry we didn't have a chance for the sweep--I think we'd have gotten it. We got a bit lucky early in the first game with a couple of ball four calls that drove in runs for us--see the highlights. One of them is clearly a third strike on the UT batter and the other one shown is /very/ close as well (too close to take, for sure, but our player did and got a bit lucky). Apparently the home-plate umpire was squeezing the strike zone for both pitchers, so maybe we just adjusted to him better. Either way, nice to take two from one of the two bama schools that I dislike.
