Now that Stewart, Jefferson and Tuck have graduated they might be vulnerable. Should TENN try to get them on the schedule while UCONN isn't the most dominant team in WCBB? Or should they stay away because of hurt feelings?

They will probably have a freshman point guard. The only senior will be coming off the bench. Two likely starters will be sophomores and no dominant big to control the lane. If TENN can get them, this might be the time. Holly could lose 20 games next year, but if she beats UCONN she could get a raise and an extension. What say you?

Geno was quoted as saying there would not be an OOC game unless he received an apology. But then he yupped an gave $10,000 to the Pat Summit Alzheimers Foudation.

Point is who knows what the chances of a game are. Syracuse played them instead in this past Tourney.

Only in final four. That ship has sailed.

Is it time for Honduras to declare war on the U.S., and then mount an all out military offensive along its southern border?

It has been rumored that Geno has stated he would only restore the rivalry games if Tennessee issues a formal apology to himself and UCONN.

I say to hell with Geno.

Just because UConn lost their big three does not mean that they are beatable now. Kia Nurse is pretty damn good and I'm sure that Geno and his staff will have those remaining and new players coming ready to defend their streaks at the start of next season.

The last team that we should be concerned with is UConn. Let's concern ourselves with the team in Knoxville right now and worry about who's gonna these girls to play at a higher level then what they have done before......

Good gawd, the stupid burns deep in that statement.....

And actually if CHW were to beat Geno in the midst of a 20 loss season, he gets fired, the Uconn program would be disbanded, and all its championships would be expunged from the NCAA record books, and you would have nothing to live for; be careful of what you hope for....

Not going to happen because we don't need UConn and they don't need us. The only way it could happen is that both sides forgot the past ask for nothing either way and sign a game. I don't think that will be possible while Geno is coach and while our coach is from the Pat Summit tree.

I think we should play them in football every season.
It'd be nice to see the Vols regularly beat UCONN by 50 to 100 points.

The series was back on twice in the recent past, until Geno publicly demanded an apology from Holly. Holly and Geno both agreed to the series again, and Holly had Pat's blessing (not that she needed it, but it was a nice gesture to ask Pat about it.) When Geno demanded the apology, Holly basically said hell no. It's highly unlikely the series will be brought back now.

ESPN wants the game back more than anyone. Tennessee was on board with bringing it back. Blame Geno for it not being brought back.

I feel sorry for poor Reno Tony. He has nothing to do but beg UT to pretty please play UConn again in basketball. Geno will abide by the rules this time I promise he says. Man, Pat jilting Geno at the altar has permanently messed up these UConn fools.

Sadly, there is no cure for this affliction. It is grim prognosis.

I would rather see us schedule a team that we at least have a fighting chance of beating. We have suffered enough humiliation for one season.

It will still be ugly with gabby willians, sanualson, nurse, dangerfield, and collier, and the coaching behind them..... they will not be the invincible UConn of this year, but still will be someone we do not want to play

No way. Talk about turning your back on Pat. That would be worse than Tyler's affair. Like someone else said only in the final four.
