That is the problem does Holly have enough sense to recruit this player? We know that she would be a good addition, however, does Holly realize this? It appears that this young lady would be potentially a better signee than a lot of JC players and she is in our backyard.

No matter how many post we sign, until we come up with an outside shooter that force teams out of a zone flex, we are still in offensive trouble. It would also help if Russell became stronger in the upper body and turned into an aggressive nightmare for teams that played the Lady Vols. There has to be a young Lady some where that has the ability to play defense and shot the three. We are way too predictable.

Her tape is OK but she has a lot of work to do to play in the SEC. She would be a project and needs to learn some of the basics of rebounding and defense. There are reasons why she has not been recruited and I am afraid she would be a long shot to play @ Tennessee.

but, she is tall, has a pulse, a 4.0 student, mensa member, and could be redshirted while gaining bb knowledge and strength.

With a RS it would make too much sense for Holly to consider.

With a player like this it is tough unless you've seen her on the AAU circuit or at a camp. They could give her a one year scholarship and not promise her anything after that if she would accept. Kind of make her prove herself. I do like smart players. Never have enough of them.

If they recruited anyone from Elizabethton it shouldve been the Marosites. They were not given much attention even though one of them won Mrs Tennessee Basketball last year.

Can teach the rest?? Not one of our players has gotten better under this staffs tutelage. In fact, I'd say a number of them have digressed from year to year.

Just because she has height doesn't mean she can play at this level, and perhaps there is a reason she is getting recruited by the likes of Lipscomb and Furman....

We really need a player that can make an immediate impact next season and she is not that player.
As far as players for two seasons from now seems we may be in with some recruits and could have a very good 2017 class.
Graves and Moore will not be with us next season and this player needs two or three seasons to get to a level to play in the SEC.

Good points,but a couple of questions. What immediate impact player do you see coming next year? One of the zero commits? Also we may be in on some good recruits for 2017,but were we not in on some good recruits for 2016? This girl has size that can't be taught,she has speed which can't be taught,and she is smart,maybe that extends to the basketball floor. And maybe she would want to be a Lady Vol,who knows. She is a project,but she moves better than our four year project Nia. Sorry,Gule.
