sorry for the formatting

Good to see new opponents in Syracuse and Virginia Tech on the schedule. Open with seven consecutive home games.

Actually open with 8 consecutive home games--9 with the exhibition.

Looks like a challenging OOC road schedule.

SEC really not maximizing the exposure for the conference by not having the clear top two teams play twice.

I understand the need for balanced scheduling and allowing equal opportunities for opponents to have UT at home. To me it seems more important to think about the game and exposure for the best teams to be on television as much as possible.

I like this schedule a little better than other recent ones.

I got my wish about Rutgers - they are not on the schedule this season.

Home-and-homes with Alabama, Arkansas, and Vanderbilt. Isn't Vanderbilt what is called a "permanent" rival, so there will always be two games with them? I wish that would change. I'd rather see the home-and-homes rotate without a permanent rival.

What does everybody think? 29-0? 28-1? 27-2? 26-3? Who will the losses come against?

The obvious "tough" OOC games are Texas, at Stanford, at OSU, at Notre Dame. I hope for a 3-1 in those four games, but it could easily be 1-3.

In conference, games at Missouri, Arkansas, Kentucky, Mississippi State (Schaeffer sp? is doing a GREAT job there), and the game at home against South Carolina are all tough. I don't think TA&M, LSU, Vanderbilt, or UGA will be that strong. I hope for no more than two losses in conference, but it may be three.

A 25-4 record seems attainable and if the team gels (and can score for gee whiz and nobody gets hurt), a 1 or 2 loss season is possible. I don't see an undefeated season - too many tough road games and too many new faces and unknowns to go undefeated.

All my very unknowledgeable opinion.

I see the tough games as Texas, Stanford, Notre Dame. If they win 1 of these it would be nice! How good is the competition in the SEC Conference: i.e, Georgia, South Carolina, Kentucky, LSU?

I'll predict 26 and 3. I expect we'll win more of the tough games this season. I expect a loss on the West Coast and probably Notre Dame. Kentucky, SC, and Texas A&M seem to be our toughest SEC games. We have 18 home games and think we will win them all. 8 and 3 on the road.

I predict losses to Stanford, Oregon State, Notre Dame, South Carolina, and one or two others.
Texas will not be good this year.

And from this post, I can infer that you don't have a clue what the hell you are talking about.

If Diamond come back healthy and Russell stays healthy, this squad will be able to compete with anyone. AS a fan, that is all I can ask for.

Do you have the ability to articulate with logic and reason why you believe a top four team -- one that you claim to support -- will lose so many games? Or are your posts just meaningless troll drivel?

We were a top four team overall, with five losses, going into the 2014 NCAA Tournament. I don't see why 5 losses would disqualify us from being a top 4 team overall this year. There are a lot of tough road games on our schedule. I personally think that we will have 1 or 2 fewer losses than that.
