This is such a sad but also inspirational story.
Pat traveled to meet this girl before she passed away.
That meant a lot to her.

The day we lose Pat is something I can barely fathom.
Damn Alzheimer's! It's in my own family too.
It is so heartbreaking to watch, as I'm sure people who have been touched by it know.
I'm just so proud of Pat for what she's done to raise awareness and stories like this one where she went out of her way to make Lauren's big day more special!
