Geno Speaks

First, I am a Lady Vol fan. Always have been. I hope we do NOT play this game until we get a new coach or the Holly learns to be one. Geno would LOVE to embarrass us on the court and show our irrelevance in women's basketball right now. With where things are, they would beat us by a minimum of 60. Please don't let him have that satisfaction.

It looks like the whole idea is some fantasy being generated by ESPN who sees dollar signs if the 2 teams play. UConn will eventually fade away if they can't get out of that mid major conference they play in. I have no interest in helping them.
What was the purpose of posting this here anyway ?
Let's see, we haven't played them in years and we won't play them anytime soon. This is news ? I WANT MY 5 MINUTES BACK.

. Actually I am not a troll. Can you not see the difference in the two programs right now? We are not relevant until we get back to a final four. That is truly the measuring stick for relevance in women's basketball. I completely dislike Geno and would hate to give him the satisfaction of embarrassing us while we are in this stage of transition. Pat's life work is too important to the game to let him have that satisfaction. Sorry think someone that realizes the condition we are in is a "troll ".

I hope we never play again as long as he is their coach. If Holly agrees to a game I hope we fire her that same day.

I shared this with my wife's uncle, who is a UCONN grad and avid follower. He said Geno wants Tennessee to apologize to Maya and her mother.

What do they want an apology for?

The series ended with UT winning the last 3 meetings. I'm honestly surprised he isn't chomping at the bit to restart it. I figured he would relish the opportunity to annihilate UT.

Even with all they have won they can't get the fans to games. Even with us not being at the level we used to be we out draw them by 2400 a game. So seems winning hasn't done a lot for changing the culture up there. They still have a limited number of people attending games or care about Geno and his program. If we had been winning like them we would be averaging 13000 or more.

AURI-ENEMA's comment confirm what I always new, he's an arrogant A-HOLE. Pat launched his program onto the national scene after playing him for the first time. Hope u-conned loses every game and UT beats the hell out of 'em in a future tourney. :bad:

Pat Summitt is better than me. I would of exposed everything. Did he apologize to Parker for benching her because he knew Maya Moore's mom was sitting in the stands at the Olympics? What about Sameka Randall who he low rated? Maya Moore's mom who sold handbags with the UConn logo and Maya Moore modeling them. Please! He will never get an apology!

Of all coaches in all sports, I dislike Geno the most. No doubt biased here since I am an ardent Lady Vols fan. I will not deny his coaching acumen. Regardless of the circumstances, a person in his position needs to come across as being gracious. No matter how he feels, his long diatribe of a response to the question once more demonstrates his classlessness. He could have simply said, "No, I have not given it any thought." Regardless of how many games he wins, I don't feel he deserves to be mentioned in the same sentence with Pat Summitt or John Wooden

One day he is lifting up Pat and talking about their resolution and the next day he's saying something disrespectful. Guess it's best if we ignore him.

Geno is known to speak his mind! I admire him for that, but sometimes he comes across as harsh. He kind of talked bad about that Sadie Edwards, their recent Freshman transfer, right after they won the Championship last year. He can be rude.

The blue hairs in CT would rather play bingo at the casinos than drive to Storrs at night for a women's basketball game.
