Huge win. Might need one more to get in the NCAA. Gutsy defensive performance, especially playing without two of our best players. To be candid, florida is a better team--Vols need to work on their possession play--but we have a lot of depth and a tough-minded group that kept a very talented gator team from scoring. Let's hope Baldwin can play next game--and Parry! Vols really need a good attacking midfielder and to work on their attacking play. Pensky has a talented group coming in next year--and this team should be fairly formidable.

Watching the replay, Wilkinson had a golden opportunity to score with 7 minutes left in regulation but unwisely chose to pass to McClung, who was offside. Could have won it there--need better communication.

Our depth helped immensely in this game: I believe we played 20 players, which is absolutely rare (and good for the future).

Sirna, a senior, was huge in this game, as was Santorio and Christie. Wilkinson played hard and well. Team played its guts out. Lets hope we have something left for next game. I think we're playing Kentucky, which also has a good team. Our depth is crucial--have to have it to win four games in eight days.

Hope their legs hold out. Kudos to them for hanging in the last two games. Who got the red card? Will she miss the next game? Go Lady Vols!
