the big question mark is going to be if Izzy can stay out of foul trouble, which has gotten to be a major problem as of late,Russell is playing a lot better lately, which is helping, but there a different team with out Izzy in the post

and please, stop with all the damn turnovers

CHW says she is waiting for the Doctors to clear her to play,so i doubt she will play against LSU

Well, she had two fouls on the scoreboard and none on the court in the last game when she was taken out in the first half so there isn't much she can do about that. Maybe we should let her come off the bench so the refs aren't gunning for her?

LSU's Ballard giving bulletin board material saying Lady Vols don't play defense. Maybe this will help challenge the girls into having a complete game!

RE Ballard's comment: It is true that we don't play defense like we did in our heyday, when we could lock down team with our man-for-man. We just haven't had the players to do it for quite some time, although this team has a few fairly good defenders. And of course the game has changed dramatically--teams are a LOT better offensively than they were when PS was in her prime.

We are about to find out just how much we have improved. Beating LSU on the road will be no small task.

When we commit to playing defense we can be really good. When we don't, lots of teams can beat us.

If you believe the rating services like Sagarin, home court is only worth 3 to 4 points. So the Lady Vols should win the game by 5 or 6 points.

We need more steel in our coaches--or a new coach with steel. From steely coaches come steely players. We've been missing that--and it starts with guard play.

Watch it, Steely players, I made the comment "fire in the belly" and got hee hawed by one of our fans!

Whats the 'general climate' at LSU for Coach Caldwell...in general are the fans happy, content, or restless?

NCAA hoops betting odds have the Vols listed as 7-point favorites.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Tennessee guard Jordan Reynolds is expected to be available Thursday at LSU after she missed one game with an injured left ankle.
