We go bussing to Charleston, after zig zagging across the country for weeks, and we play those mediocre teams in their tournament, we have nothing to gain from it, and we are just doing them a big favor. Then those team spend the whole weekend teaming up and throwing at our girls. The umpires did nothing to temper it. They actually did throw this Valparaiso pitcher out one game, but they didn't even make her leave the dugout. It was just driving me crazy and I just kept wanting all of to be over without getting injuries.

We actually did get a couple injuries, both unrelated to the foul play. Erin Gabriel's hand got hit by a line drive. She seems to be ok. Tory Lewis hurt herself diving after a fly ball and I think she hit the fence. Not sure on the exact nature of her injury but she will be missing this weekends Alabama series. I really hate that too because she hit Bama really well last year.

Florida Gators beat Alabama 8-4 wednesday in a nonconference game.... they were not playing each other in league play this year so the teams scheduled this non league game. Bama was up 4-2 in the 5th and Florida scored 6 runs late to win game. Traina pitched and was relieved late in the game.

Go Vols beat Bama!!
