i'm behind on updating this thread as we all know Carter is out for the year and Burdick broke a bone in her hand

all i have been able to find about Burdick,is there hoping for her to be back early Feb.

has anybody else heard anything about her injury ?

I missed the part on how & where Burdick broke the bone in her hand. I know it's been weeks ago now. I know she was playing a game one day & the next thing I hear is she would be out till Feb. How did that happen? Was it like an overnight type thing? Does anyone know how that was done & did they make that public?

Yes, it happened during practice. Just a freak accident but should be back in 3-4 weeks.

You know, once she's back to form, she'll be putting points on the board like she's trying to make up for lost time...lol. And that's a good thang.

Burdick was apparently doing one-on-one defensive drills with former Vol Bobby Maze. Got her fingers caught in his shirt and fractured a bone.

that is a weird injury for sure Manny,anybody have any up dates on her ?

Thanks for the explanation on how her injury happened. I hope nobody else gets hurt in practice this season but I know things like this does happen. Practice can be rough at times as we all know like when a player blows their knee out or sprains an ankle.
