That's going by rankings of individual players so it's a little misleading. What seems to have hurt our ranking is Nia Moore, who is not ranked in their top 100. Carter was a top-ten player and sure-fire McDonald's AA before her ACL injury. She slipped to around #30 in their rankings, I think. Jasmine Jones was ranked in the top ten at one point but also fell pretty to the 30s somehow. She is ranked higher in all of the other ranking services, I think as high as #12 in one of them. I think she will surprise some people. I think she's better than some of the players ranked in the top 20 of HG's rankings. There's probably nobody more athletic in the class and she has a pretty nice game on both ends as she uses that athletic ability well.

Not sure I would rank Rutgers or ND above our class, even when you go by the numbers. Graves, our top prospect, is way better than Hollivay, who will most likely wind up transferring from Rutgers, anyway. I would definitely take Carter over Kahleah Cooper, who I think is overranked by them. Person and Butts are both ranked in the 70s. ND got Lloyd but none of their other players are that special.

Despite me pointing out rankings, player rankings and recruiting class rankings don't mean much, although it makes for nice discussion (especially on message boards). The class that just graduated at Tennessee didn't make it to a single Final Four despite three of them being ranked in the top ten in that class (although one wound up having brain surgery). Tennessee had the unanimous #1 class that year and it didn't do much good.

Geno Aurienema is cheating !! No matter how hard he tries , that type-A A-hole personality is evident below the surface.
